FLIP PRINSLOO

Senior Attorney and Partner

Flip Prinsloo is a senior Attorney and Partner at Prinsloo Bekker.   


His fields of expertise include Commercial Law and Civil litigation.

 

In his capacity as Conveyancer, he has extensive knowledge of Conveyancing and Property Law. Flip Prinsloo obtained his legal qualifications at the University of Pretoria in 1982 and was admitted as an Attorney in 1984.

 

Flip is married to Kristell and has 3 children, one of which is also an admitted Attorney. He enjoys hunting and watching sport. He has completed 6 Comrades marathons and also achieved Springbok colours in athletics during 1979 – 1981.

ANTON BEKKER

Senior Attorney and Partner

Anton Bekker is a senior Attorney and Partner at Prinsloo Bekker. His primary areas of expertise include Conveyancing, Property & Development law, Commercial & Corporate Law as well as litigation which are related to these fields of expertise.

 

He obtained his legal qualifications at the University of Pretoria in 1995 and was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 1998.

​Anton is married to Madeleine. He is an active mountain biker and enjoys participating in endurance and multi stage events such as the Cape Epic, of which he has already completed six events. When time permits, he enjoys reading, good music, cooking as well as wine collecting and tasting.

RICK SMITH

Senior Associate

Rick Smith joined Prinsloo Bekker in 2017 as a Senior Associate. Rick was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2008 and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2013.

 

Rick attends to civil or commercial litigation matters in either the High Court or Magistrate's Court including the Supreme Court of Appeal. He still retains strong ties to the United Kingdom with a sound contact basis of legal professionals.
Rick further provides commercial legal support including drafting and assessment of commercial contracts to a wide variety of small to medium business enterprises with the view of "prevention is better than cure", regularly assessing and identifying corporate clients' risks and liabilities in advance.

 

Rick is an avid orchid-grower an enthusiast and which plants have taken over half of his office showing the same dedication and interest with which he attends to his matters.
